This Pendant is built around an authentic Greek 20 Drachma Coin - beaRing the face of Pericles, the statesman who transformed Athens into the cultural and democratic pinnacle of the Ancient world. His name in Greek - ֶ ֶïֶ!ֶôֶöֶõֶóֶ# - is pressed into the Coin's surface, surrounded by a rich teal patina that only time can create.
The Coin is set in a blackened stainless steel bezel, oxidized to a deep, aged finish - a deliberate contrast that lets the Coin's gold and green tOnes breathe. It hangs from a gunmetal ball chain, modern in weight but Ancient in spirit.
